Liverpool's Ovie Ejaria signs new deal ahead of completing season-long loan to Rangers

Ovie Ejaria has signed a new contract at Liverpool ahead of loan to Rangers.

Rangers will complete the season-long loan signing of Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria later today, Sky Sports News understands.
The 20-year-old is also understood to have signed a new contract with the Reds ahead of joining Liverpool legend Steve Gerrard in his new role as Gers manager.
Ejaria is a product of the Liverpool youth academy, where Gerrard was a coach before moving to Ibrox, and he made eight first-team appearances during the 2016-17 season, including five starts in the FA and League Cups.
The midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Sunderland, who were relegated from the Championship, making 11 appearances for the Black Cats and scoring against Wolves on May 6.
Ejaria is an England U21 international, earning his first cap earlier this year, and was part of last year's U20 World Cup-winning side.
