Jorginho to choose Chelsea ahead of Man City, says Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis

Jorginho is ready to snub to Manchester City in order to join Chelsea, according to Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis. De Laurentiis previously claimed Napoli had rejected a bid of £44m (€50m) from City for Jorginho and  Sky Sports News  understands the Premier League champions have been in advanced talks over a deal for the 26-year-old for a number of weeks. De Laurentiis revealed he agreed a deal for Jorginho with Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak over two weeks ago but, according to Sky in Italy, Chelsea have since come in with a bigger offer, in terms of both the transfer fee and wages. Cristiano Ronaldo joins Juventus from Real Madrid on four-year deal

Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Juventus on a four-year contract, bringing to an end his nine-year stay at Real Madrid. The fee for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is in the region of £105m, according to Sky sources. A statement from Real Madrid on their official website said the Portuguese forward had asked to leave the club. It read: "In response to the will and request expressed by the player Cristiano Ronaldo, he has agreed to transfer to Juventus. Manchester City have completed the signing of Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City for a club-record £60m. Mahrez was the subject of four failed bids from Manchester City in the January transfer window and, after a move to the Etihad did not materialise he missed training for over a week, with the Algeria international forced to deny going AWOL. However, the Premier League champions returned with a successful bid for the Leicester winger, who scored 13 goals in 41 appearances for the Foxes last season. Liverpool in talks to sign Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri

Liverpool are in talks to sign Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke, according to Sky sources. The winger, who scored seven goals for the newly-relegated Potters last season, has a release clause of £13.5m. Following Stoke's relegation to the Championship, the 26-year-old expressed a desire to remain in the Premier League, recently stating it is "no secret" he will leave the bet365 Stadium. A move to Anfield would make Shaqiri the Reds' third signing of the summer following the arrival of midfielders Fabinho and Isaac Christie-Davies. Shaqiri joined Stoke in 2015 from Inter Milan before going on to make 84 league appearances for the club. One of Switzerland's star performances in Russia, his last-minute winner against Serbia sent the side through to the World Cup's round of 16 before their campaign drew to a close with a defeat to Sweden. Arsenal have signed midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from French Ligue 2 side Lorient. Sky sources understand the fee for the 19-year-old will be in the region of £8m. Guendouzi started his career at the Paris Saint-Germain academy before joining Lorient's academy in 2014. He made his first-team debut for Lorient aged 17 in October 2016 and went on to make 30 appearances. He is a France youth international, having represented them at under-18, under-19 and under-20 level. Head coach Unai Emery said: "We are delighted Matteo is joining us. He is a talented young player and a lot of clubs were interested in him. "He has big potential and gained good first-team experience last season with Lorient. Arsenal sign Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria

Arsenal have completed the signing of Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria. Torreira, 22, completed his medical at Arsenal's London Colney training base on Tuesday before the club announced the deal for an undisclosed fee. The Uruguay midfielder, who featured in all five of their games at the World Cup, will be given a break before joining up with the rest of his new team-mates in early August. Arsenal head coach Unai Emery told the club's website: "In Lucas Torreira, we have signed a young player who is a very bright talent in the game. "A midfielder with great quality, I have enjoyed watching his performances for Sampdoria in the past two seasons, and we all saw him do very well for Uruguay in the World Cup. England have a clean bill of health for their World Cup semi-final against Croatia after all 23 players trained on Tuesday. Jordan Henderson had been a fitness concern with a tight hamstring while Jamie Vardy was an unused substitute in Saturday's win over Sweden with a groin injury. But both players completed a full session at the Spartak Zelenogorsk stadium - including an exercise which saw the players throw around a rubber chicken. The squad fly out to the Russian capital, Moscow, on Tuesday afternoon for their first World Cup semi-final in 28 years. England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to name the same XI against Croatia as he did in the victories over Colombia and Sweden which saw them reach the final four. Fernando Torres joins Sagan Tosu in Japan

Fernando Torres has announced he is joining Japanese top-flight side Sagan Tosu as a free agent after leaving Atletico Madrid last month. Torres, who spent the bulk of his career with boyhood club Atletico across two spells, has also played for Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan and won the World Cup and two European Championship titles with Spain. "We have had offers from every continent. My new team will be Sagan Tosu of Japan," the 34-year-old Torres said on Tuesday. "I have had offers from France, Germany and even one from Spain but at no point did I ever think about going to another European team. "I wanted a new challenge in a completely different place." Sagan Tosu have been in Japan's top flight J.League since 2012. In 2017, they finished eighth in the division but are in a relegation battle halfway through the current campaign. Wilfried Zaha subject of interest from Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are interested in Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, according to  Sky sources. The German club are expected to follow up that interest with an offer once the deal to take Andriy Yarmolenko to West Ham United is finalised. Yarmolenko will have the second part of his West Ham United medical at the club's pre-season training camp in Switzerland on Tuesday. Zaha, who signed a five-year contract at Selhurst Park in May 2017, reportedly turned down a new improved £120,000-a-week deal with the Eagles this summer. The Ivory Coast international had previously been a target for Tottenham, however, Sky Sports News understands that they have now cooled any interest due to Palace's valuation of the player. Kenedy completes Newcastle medical ahead of loan from Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Kenedy has completed his medical at Newcastle ahead of a season-long loan on Tyneside, Sky sources understand. The Brazilian joined the Magpies on a temporary deal in January, scoring two goals in 13 appearances to help Rafa Benitez's side retain their place in the Premier League. That has prompted Newcastle to come back in for him and he looks set to spend a full campaign at St James' Park, although there is not understood to be an option to buy next summer. The 22-year-old becomes the club's third signing of the summer, after goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and midfielder Ki Sung-yueng joined the club. via Sky Sports
